Dates benefits are various because they are a great source of minerals as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, zinc and magnesium. They are a great source of vitamins too as vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and folate. Dates are high in fiber and they are great for digestion and relieving symptoms of constipation.

They are great for our bones and strength because they contain manganese, copper, and selenium. Dates are also very good for the nervous system and the heart and they are an energy booster and that is why they are great for anemia.

I write this post because dates are my favorite fruit and I eat them very often. I love dates because they are very sweet and I feel like I am eating a cake and not a fruit. And I know they are high in calories but they won’t make you gain weight if you eat them properly. Dates benefits motivated me to write this post and to eat more dates.

SMOOTHIES WITH DATES

Put them in a smoothie instead of honey/sugar/sweetener. Yes, dates are great when you want your smoothie to be sweeter. Instead of putting sugar in it you are putting vitamins and minerals. And fiber too which is great for you and your digestive system. Dates benefits are various so feel free to add dates in almost every smoothie you make.

CAKES WITH DATES

There are a lot of cake recipes with dates, and now I don’t have one written on my blog but I promise I will soon. When you put dates in your cakes feel free to add less sugar in the recipe. Also, there are a lot of raw cakes recipes with dates and avocados. I will make one soon at home and post it here.

EAT  DATES WHEN HUNGRY

When you are feeling very hungry and your lunch is not yet ready, eat 3 dates. This will be enough for your hunger and your low blood sugar. Dates are a great snack because they will give you energy and you will feel more productive.

EAT DATES BEFORE EXAM

Yes, they are great for your nervous system. Feel free to take some dates instead of dark chocolate before exams. They will boost your energy and nervous system. They can help you to calm down too. Just make sure to take water with you.

EAT DATES FOR ANEMIA

Dates are rich sources of iron and you can include dates in your diet to hike your iron levels.

FOR EASIER LABOR

This is not scientifically proven, but women do try this method for an easier labor. I do believe that they help a lot because they are rich in vitamins and minerals. And they are a great sweet treat for every pregnant woman.

DATES WITH TAHINI

This is the easiest dessert you can make at home. Just take few dates and put little tahini over them. This tastes wonderful and this is a great recipe especially if you suffer anemia.

DATES WITH YOGURT

This is something you can make for breakfast or for a snack. I love this recipe and I am very glad I found it. Take a few dates and put them in a bowl. Add yogurt in the bowl and mix it. Voila! This is the recipe. This is great for your digestive system and if you suffer constipation.

If you don’t want to eat this then you can drink this. Just put these ingredients in a blender and add ice cubes. You will have your perfect energy smoothie.
